District Office of Azad News, situated at Nehru Nagar (West) will be inaugurated on January 7. The inauguration ceremony will begin from 11:45, hrs. Hemchand Yadav, Water Resources Minister,' CG Government will be the chief guest. Vidyaratan Bhasin, Mayor, Bhilai Municipal Corporation and Shiv Kumar Tamer, Mayor, Durg Municipal Corpora-lion will be special guests. Rajendra Thakur, Presi-dent, Press Club, Durg will preside over the pro-gramme.
Kartik appointed President
B Kartik has been ap-pointed as Congress President of Block No-6. That nomination was made on the recommendation of Kanhaiya Agrawal, State Presi-dent, Commerce Cell, Chhattis-_ garh Pradesh Congress Commit-tee. As per direction of State Con-gress Committee he would con-tribute for the consolidation of the party. Also work - for the expansion of Commerce Cell and execution of its programmes following the instructions of State, President and District President.
