Lecture on 'Vision 2010 onward' held

At JLN Hospital and Research Centre 

Durg Mayor Dr Tamer while addressing the guest lecture session on “vision 2010 onward" in Medical & Health Services (M&HS) in the Conference Hall of JLN Hospital & Research ,Centre praised the sincerity of all doctors and hoped it continues. He also hope that BSP would continue to contribute towards Health Care management in the neighbouring areas.

The purpose of the programme was to get the views of some eminent personalities like Dr SK Tamer new Mayor -of Durg, PK Aggarwal, ED (P&A) and Bharatlal, ex-GM Incharge (Mills & Quality), BSP.

The doctor fratemity and other- executives of- M & HS were in full attendance in the hall. Dr SJ Rizvi, Director M&HS lncharge briefed on the session and asked, the doctors and all 'concerned to get ready for delivering the best patient care in our hospital.

Bharatlal stressed that the hospital is a business centre where the patients are not only treatment seekers but also customers. He also emphasized that support services in hospital be
very good as the patient spends most of his time with them rather than withdoctor, waiting time
of patients should not be a period of boredom and they should be provided with individual chairs
and provided with TV in waiting hall; Response time in casualty to be very prompt; Doctors should look beyond their specialty. 

ED (P&A) appreciated the new initiative in the New' Year. He ‘also stressed g that the “SAMBEDANA” Workshop being conducted for medical staff should lcontinue and should cover everybody. He also opined that: The doctors should be-sent to seminars and conferences to update their knowledge; Doctors should update their knowledge through internet; Medicines should be wide ranging not a restricted list; The time of doctors with patient should be exclusive for the patient without any distraction; The medicine be prescribed for I -2 months to reduce rush. Dr Subodh Hiran, DMHS proposed the vote of thanks. The " programme had been organized jointly by Personnel, S&A, M&S and other sections of M & HS.
